How has the ERRP Helped the Community?

Major Road Projects

  • Worked with DOT in the design and enhancements along Bridge Street and Highway 45 North for which the City won a state award for Best Public/Private Partnership
  • Designed the streetscape and worked with the City on Railroad Street improvements
  • Worked with the City and engineers on the Wall Street improvements and streetscape design

The ERRP has written three grants on behalf of the City totaling over $1,000,000. In addition, the City was able to obtain a Block Grant for improvements on Railroad Street, which would not have been possible without the existence of the Main Street Program. The ERRP has contributed financially to each of the projects, further reducing the burden on the taxpayers.
